Hi all,

Is one style of release easier to use when you're wearing gloves? I get cold really easy, especially my (blue) fingers so i usually have to wear gloves that are rated warmer than the temps might usually warrant. Some that I have tried didn't work out so well with my strap style caliper release (Scott Little Goose). They either don't fit around the glove well or the 'release cutout' in the cuff doesn't feel right, and my anchor point gets jacked up.

I was thinking maybe something like a thumb release might be easier to use w gloves but wanted to see what the thoughts are from you guys.

Adult late onset hunter. Why did I wait so long to get started?

I use my Tru Fire Hardcore max release with or without gloves. I usually only wear light gloves when bow hunting and if it is cold then I keep my hands in my pockets with handwarmers.

I've been hunting all season with thin waterproof gloves using my regular wrist release. Just keep those hands in a pocket with some handwarmers.
