Hard to find in the trail of bumps. Price dropped to $400.
Will consider trades. Lever actions and nice camo shotguns considered
I bought this a month or so ago from a neighbor and decided I have too many toys! (of course my wife helped me reach that determination) Pretty neat gun with limited production. From what I could gather this gun was just produced for about 3 years (1993-1996). Sources said production was around 1,600-1,900 guns and another source showed between 3,000-5,000 guns produced. Here is an informative review I found online. http://www.woodsnwater.net/articles/2011/5-may-2011/2-fun_shooting
Like mentioned this is a Mossberg SSI-One (SSI stands for “Single Shot Interchangeable) in 22-250 caliber and has a bull barrel. This rifle/shotgun series was offered in several rifle barrels and two shotgun barrels that were interchangeable by the user with no factory modifications or special fitting needed. The walnut stock is in pretty good shape with a few minor dings. The bluing is good but there is one spot on the right side of the receiver. Not sure what caused this. I am providing a close up picture. I am unsure what model the Nikon scope is but believe it is a Prostaff. The only marking on the scope is Nikon and Team Realtree. According to the previous owner the scope was bought new last year at Academy. Scope\reticle is clear as new.
I am asking $425 and comes with 50 rounds of ammo. (Winchester 45 gr. and Federal 55 gr.)
I live in San Saba county. I am making a trip to Denton this Friday and can meet at Cabelas in Fort Worth Saturday or Sunday morning. May also be able to meet around here if your passing thru. PM with any questions.
