SAS Suppressor liquidation

Are those SAS good? My coworkers are exploring the idea

I am happy with my Silencerco Omega.

SAS and Thunderbeast are usually the top two "popular" accuracy suppressors due to how they thread on.

Ultra 7. I bought a Harvester but it is kinda long, but light weight.

I've had great performance from 3 SAS cans. Just bought another from the fire sale mentioned.

Id probably go thunder beast ultra 7, I think its what im going with on 6.5 calibers. I have a Saker now but its not very light but I like it

Yeah, I couldn't resist the SAS sale either. Ordered a Barricade DT today.

I have an Ultra 7CB waiting for a stamp also, hopefully get it by January.

So which sas would best fit my bill? Not to get into an argument but I would want a direct connect.

I'm far from an expert, so this will be worth what you paid for it, but I'd say the Barricade is the ticket if nothing bigger than 6.5 cal is to be used, and primarily bolt guns. If you want to go up to 30, the reaper is their 30 cal hunting can. It's a few years old, not the newest design, but whether that matters I don't know.

I bought the TBAC Ultra 7CB first, after months of thinking about it. I only sprung for the SAS for my 2nd one because of the $250 off msrp price, figured that's like getting a free tax stamp. I also wanted one in Direct thread to use on hunting rifles that I'd prefer not to have a brake on.

A suppressor is a lifetime purchase, IMO.

I would get a 30 cal suppressor to start. You will be able to run everything from .30 cal down to the smallest centerfire.
The SAS Arbiter direct thread is a great can. Quiet and POI shift is minimal (inch down at 6 o'clock at 100yds) and repeatable on both my 308 and 260 with 2 different Arbiters. POI is now irrelevant for me due to the fact that I don't shoot those rifles without a can anymore.

The Reaper is intriguing due to it being a bit shorter than the Arbiter but I have no experience with it. That may be the one that fits your criteria the best.

BIL...there is DIY cans out there that could be had quicker. Order all the parts then submit your Form 1 and once approved then drill the baffles and assemble the can. Google it, lots of good reading out there and I think SD Tactical or something like that sells all titianium hardware (except the baffles, he uses freeze plugs for baffles). If you want to go way cheap there are even ways to make them out of Maglights.

If I was you and primary reason for use is hunting...I'd get a Harvester from Silencer Shop in Austin.

I may look into the omega for not far off from the SAS price. The crux 6 would probably be my first choice

BIL, if you decide to do the omega but really only want DT,Capitol Armory in Austin told me they have them for about $150 less without the ASR QD mount. That's the only place I've seen advertising them without the QD, but there may be others IDK.

If you went that route to save some money I would assume you could always buy the ASR mount later if you decide you want it. And the really nice thing with the omega is you can swap thread modules on the rear of the can to do both 5/8" and 1/2" threads. A buddy of mine has this can and said he'd recommend the 5.56 endcap also for .223 use. The omega is very modular..

I wanted to buy an Ultra 9, but the wait time was too long so I bought a Mack Brothers Varminter 3.0 from Dakota Silencer.They even took $75 off to cover the transfer fee at my local class 3 ffl. It weighs about the same as the Ultra 9, and is also user serviceable.
