Got my first coyote Saturday morning. I wasn't calling, I was sitting in the stand and had just watched a 12 point for about 30 mins. After he left, I started packing my stuff up, and out of the corner of my eye spotted movement. Glassed him and realized it was a yote. He was bouncing around chasing field mice by himself around 10am in the wide open. He finally turned, and I hit him with the 6.8. DRT. He didn't even kick.
