I have heard some very interested hog baits, anything from diesel and corn to burnt motor oil/ corn. I mainly use regular corn, and occasionally sour milo and mix it with my corn. I am curious to see what everyone else is using to attract hogs.

Regular corn, and some strategically placed shallow holes with granulated molasses in them.

But that apple corn smells soooo good when you open the bag.
I've tried diesel, beer, koolaid, soured, etc. Only use diesel occasionally with corn in cornlines now when I'm going to be sitting in a blind watching that cornline later. The diesel will help keep the other wildlife from eating it for a few days unless it rains.
Don't waste my time doing anything to the corn other than that, just put straight corn in feeders and pipes.

George Dickel sour mash whiskey. About a cup or two over a post-hole full of plain corn.

There is corn, protein (whichever is cheapest), and then there seems to be a lot of wishful and overly complex concoctions.

Corn, corn and more corn. You can pour whatever liquid or powder (typically sweet stuff) over a 5 gallon bucket almost full of corn, mix it in and pour it in a pile or a line and it may help may not

Two post holes about 10-ft about (no livestock on my lease). 1 bag of corn in each hole. 1 beer in each hole - over the corn. 1/2 gallon of milk over corn. strawberry or mixed berry coolaid or jello in each hole. Feeder between holes. Be sure the landowner is "ok" with it, because it will look like a bomb went off after the hogs find it. Did same mix in 20 gallon plastic drum on a chain. Hogs destroyed it.

I got a big gallon bottle of it for Christmas as few years ago. I took one sniff of it and immediately knew what I would be doing with it, and it wasn't drinking it!
