Anybody own a Browning or ArmsCor 1911 style .380? Decided against the Browning so just interested in the RIA Baby Rock .380. Brags or complaints? Bought my wife a Glock 42 .380 & am thinking the 1911 style may be better for her.

Can't help with the 2 you mentioned, but do have a Colt Mustang Pocket Lite. Very nice pistol. It's digested everything I've put thru it, including the Liberty Civil Defense ammo.
Easy to carry/pleasant to shoot.

Really wanting to stick to one that has the grip safety, specifically the RIA .380. Thanks.

I can't say anything about their small pistols, but I've had a RIA .45 and one in 9mm and they both ran great.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

My son and I both have RIA .45 ACP's. I am pleased with them. My next handgun purchase will be their .22 WMR 1911.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Surprised nobody here owns the RIA .380. I'm a fan of RIA but was wondering how people have been doing with the Baby Rock.

If I was going to carry a .380 (which I wouldn't) I would choose a much more reliable (proven) and smaller option. Colt Mustang, Sig P238 or Glock 42 would be my preference.

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

A .380, with XTP bullets, can consistently get 15"+ of penetration which is easily significant enough. Armscor (RIA) is one of the, if not THE, worlds largest supplier of 1911's, with yearly productions more than Colt and Springfield combined! They are reliable and very proven. Not sure where you Intel comes from but it's incorrect. Like I said in the OP, she has a G42. I love it but she doesn't care for it. She'd prefer a grip safety (which none have that you mentioned) for purse carrying concers. Thanks.

Just my opinion...I 100% do not care which gun you buy, shoot or carry!

My RIA government model needed a lot of work to be reliable. The edges were so sharp, you had to be careful as to not cut yourself. I wouldn't buy another one.

If the OP knew enough about what he wanted to defend his un-choice when others offered a different idea, why is this even a topic of discussion? I don't care at all what the OP chooses or that he decides a .380 is a good idea....not my choice. Why does he ask opinions if his mind is made up already? I think the opinions given were pretty informative.
Pass the gravy.

"wondering how people have been doing with the Baby Rock" Since you're obviously not bright enough to figure it out , & you wasted your time to mock me, I'll waste my time & spell it out for you: I NEVER asked which .380 I should get. I asked personal experiences w/the RIA .380. That clear enough for ya'?
