Hey folks am trying to reload some Hornady leverlution ammo. When comes time to seat bullet some fit tight and some drop down deep. Is my sizing die or expanding die set up wrong never loaded a st right wall before
NRA all the way god guns and guts made us free , i want all three
It could be the sizing. Or, it could be different brands of brass being used, and each has different thicknesses, causing different neck tensions. But, you should have a fairly consistent neck tension. If it's too light of neck tension, that bullet can move around. If you want more tension, remove any expanding ball to keep a tight fit.
If your reloading the Hornady LE brass, you need a crimp die specifically for that brass. It's shorter than standard and the crimp won't reach it. I know that's not what you asked but thought I would throw it out there. I ran into that problem.
Where did America go? I can't find her.
