I shot this gun for the first time today and I was using Nosler Trophhy Grade bullets. I shot it approximately 12 times and half of the time I guess the casing of the shell expanded to the point to where I couldn't pull the bolt back to eject the shell without letting it sit for a little bit. If you look at the casing of the used shell and a bullet that has not been been shot you can defintly see a difference. So I am guessing it is a problem with the ammo and not the gun. Has anyone else had this problem with this ammo?

Give Nosler a call tomorrow and talk to them about it.
What rifle are you shooting it in.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

I have seen this happen before on two different occasions. Both times the problem happened no matter what ammo was used. In both cases the problem ended up being a burr in the chamber.
I would come closer to believing its a chamber issue rather than a ammo issue based on what I have seen.

Had the same issue just last month with that exact same ammo in 300 Weatherby. Rifle is a Rifles Inc strata (based on a Remington 700 action) that shoots Weatherby ammo just fine, but not the Nosler trophy grade.
Give Nosler a call, they will trade you for a replacement box. Waiting to hear back on their test results from the box I sent in, but in the meantime I'm back to searching for another factory load. I'll be selling the replacement box they sent me.
If you died tomorrow, what would you have done today...
