The smallest 30cal can currently has to be a TBAC Ultra 5, if your main priority is compact size over sound suppression then look there.

As far as bang for your buck, I guess the SiCo Harvester and Omega would be near the top of that list.

I looked at those and many others, and decided a few hundred more was negligible considering all the paperwork and wait times.

I was also really interested in the SAS reaper, but found a good price on the TBAC Ultra 7 so I went that way for my first suppressor and hope to have it around the end of the year.

I just got notice on my TBAC ultra 7 serial number assignment.... but mine is the 6.5mm model and I guess it will show near year end as well.

You'll be one of the coolest kids around with that Ultra 7 6.5, those were announced after I ordered my 30cal.

cool I too ordered the 30 but switched when it was announced and if you believe what dealers tell you it has actually sped up the process by a few weeks as they were producing a large run of them.

I have used my 30 cal from .308 winchester to 17 Remington and all sorts of calibers in between.

Yes you can. The new 6.5 Ultras are being made to satisfy the demands of the PRS type shooters who've gone from 308 to 6.5s exclusively. I don't even have a 308 right now, and will use the can on a 260, but I went 30 because like you, I wanted versatility. I will also try mine on a .223 AR.

If I really dig using the suppressor I may look to get a dedicated semi auto can down the road, but I figured for hunting and recreational target a handy Ti can was the way to go.

You're missing some important decision making criteria. You didn't specify what was more important light weight or smaller physical dimensions. Some suppressors are longer, some are fatter. Weight usually means durability . Also, is this for an AR or for a hunting rifle? Is this for a precision rifle? How important is price?

Slow down a little. Or you'll end up buying again, although that's not a bad thing either.

Hunting, bolt action 308 and 6.5. Longest shot maybe 200 yards

Both rifles have been chopped to 16.25 and 17.5. Wanted something compact but to work well with subs.

Price wanna keep is under 1000.00

If you can live with the limited durability and lack of rapid fire capability, the SilencerCo Harvester and the Griffin Armament Sportsman both offer a great deal at a modest price for the hunter. Neither is suitable for AR or continuous match usage. There's no reason to spend more for hunting use.

Note both of these are aluminum suppressors, which is good and bad. They're much cheaper than Ti, but have very limited rapid fire capability, which is a meaningless limitation for hunting purposes. I bought the Sportsman, but recently had an exceptionally good experience with SilencerCo customer support. I don't see how you can go wrong with either.

The YHM Phantom doesn't get much love these days with all the new shiny suppressors on the market, but I love mine. I got the 30cal QD model SS not Ti, it's a tad on the heavy side. However it is rated up to 300RUM down to 17HMR and everything in between and also rated for full auto fire. It is a beast of a can and I got mine from Morgan for $825 OTD including stamp. That was years ago they're probably even cheaper now. For all the features to me the price can't be beat.

It is 8" long 1.65" in diameter can't remember the weight off hand but it's not too heavy.

Crux Nemesis30 6" might be worth a look but I don't know if you can get it in your price range. I bought an Omega.
