Both 6.5 or more. A fully mature Buck is a prize with in its self.

With that said if you have that kind of age class.... Might be pretty happy with what else might show

Both very mature and great trophies. First one to show, perhaps?

I have a couple of 8 points coming to my blind and I know there are some bigger ones out there from last yeas pics and what my neighbor has seen. With a two month long season, I would either take the first one that's legal that I saw, or pass on both hoping something bigger comes along.

I think you made the right choice. Can't tell from your kill pic, but in the game cam pic looked like he had an injured left rear leg. That is what contributed to the non-typical right antler. The other one has more potential going forward, of course, he could be on the downhill side due to maturity. Both great bucks...congrats on a nice kill.
