I went to Stompy's today. Got humbled shot two and a half boxes of shells killed nine birds and should have had 25 easily. It was more fun than stepping on baby chickens. Only problem is they're wearing bullet proof vest and flying 150 miles an hour. Hunted with Ron and Dave and Rons son Tyler. Tyler put us all to shame. If you haven't been there Stompy is a hell of a host. Headed to bed going back in the morning.

I'm hunting south of Breck and its insain. I am having to go to water though if there are not enough people to keep them moving in the field. Tons of birds in the field but even with Mojo's they are mostly out of reach

I'm south of Breck too, about 7 miles. Lots of birds this morning, several limits.

This morning was exceptional. Carried home a limit. I could not keep shells in my gun fast enough. Shot terrible. I swear some of those dove were bullet proof. Fly like fighter aircraft pilots too. Hunted with Dave, Ron, and Tyler again and feel like I've known them my whole life. John, you have really put the work in there to make a nice place for folks to hunt. Your hard work has really made a lot of folks happy. Sounded like Cox's Army was out there this morning. Heck of a weekend for me. Just what I needed. 2 hunts 30 birds and I am missing 5.5 boxes of shells.

I carried home a limit friday, sat, Sunday night last week. We did 35 of a possible 45 birds last night and I've been messing about out here all day. Shot 10 this morning out of a box of shells and had to give up. Lost 1 to tall grass and one landed in the middle of the pond. Picked 100 shells to get those last 5 birds tonight.

Tank setup, from 545-dark is good action. Field setup by myself has been meh from 4-5:45 I noticed they all kinda pick up and move out around 6:15 so I followed them. They go to the tanks so I get a jump on them. The other field still has sunflowers in it but it's been under a lot of pressure.

Wow..That is areal dove Hunt..I wish you were not so far.If you think the second season would be that
good,Iwill take a chance of traveling 350+ miles with my 4or5 hunting buddies.

Usually the late season is not very good. Most of the birds have already migrated past me. What's left seem to live at the Deer corn feeders.
