Finally got my trailcam pics loaded. Didn't get my camera set up until 9/27.. immediately started getting some good pics. Have several young bucks.. two good culls and TONS of pigs. Here's a few from last week.

The one on the right is 'Crabbe'. He's getting culled this year hopefully. My fiance already has her eye on him. The other one is 'Trash'.. he'll be a GREAT buck in a couple years if the neighbors let him go.

A couple bucks only show up in the background of the pics.. I have my eye on the 2 in the middle background

What are your thoughts on this one? I know he's young but doubt he'll ever be more than an 8

Lots of pigs.. but this big ugly guy has made several appearances

I figure hes 3.5 but there is a strong 8pt gene in our area.. if they have it they never get any better. Lately we've been seeing more 9s and 10s. Last year I killed a good 11.. 10pt frame with a kicker. The 'trash' buck is a mainframe 9 but he has some stickers as well.. I think he'll be really good if he sticks around.

There are a lot of hogs in Atascosa county. Jourdanton/ Pleasington area is full of them.

Thanks guys.

Been watching the 'trash' buck for about an hour now. He's a 10 with his kicker and his brow tine hooks back. Good size body I'd say he's around 140lbs on hoof. He'll be a nice one next year for sure.. If the neighbors will let him walk!

Nice pics. Very clear and good quality. I hunt in atascosa county and this year we have seen many more 10, 11, and 12 pointers than ever but our age on our deer has increased. You might want to hold off on those bucks until next year. We used to see mostly 8 pt max but this year that has changed. It might be the wetter summer, feeding program we have, or just age but we are excited this year!

Good Luck
