Just sitting in office thinking all kinds of things. Can you use a road feeder,(lamco) for seeding/fertilizing?

I'm not sure about the Lamco but I use my LehmanH for planting rye grass. Just had to adjust the spinner plate up to accommodate the smaller seed size.

Good idea. I'll look and see if mine can be adjusted.

Yes but you can burn up the motor...per experience. But cheaper fix than buying a spreader

I contacted the lamco office (my feeder) about this issue they said sure. Here is what they told me.
"Yes you can. Does your spinner plate have wings that fold down when the feeder is turned on or is it a round cupped plate?
"If it's the cup plate it will not throw as far"

Thanks for all the reply's.

I burned up the motor on one running it straight slinging oats. I was running it straight for each pass, guessing each pass was about 4 minutes.
