Since I get asked often about carrying supersonic (full power) 223/5.56 ammo, I am going to make a large ammo run and offer these for the first time. This will be with once-fired, mixed head stamp 223/5.56 brass (LC, WCC, Norma, RP, Win, FC, etc), commercial grade powder, CCI #400 primers, and bullet of your choice. The ammo will be loaded using the same loads and recipes I shoot out of my personal rifles.

All priced per 500 rounds!! To sell these, I need these to be in volume, so I can NOT split them up into smaller quantities. I am processing brass now, and will be making ammo in the coming days and weeks. Lead time should be about 1 week right now.

55 grain Hornady SP (soft point)- $195 per 500 rounds
55 grain Hornady V-max- $238 per 500 rounds
60 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip- $265 per 100 rounds
65 grain Sierra Game King (soft point, boat tail)- $285 per 500 rounds (my personal hunting round I shoot)
68 grain Hornady BTHP- $268 per 500 rounds (my personal match round for my AR-15)
75 grain Hornady BTHP- $273 per 500 rounds
77 grain Nosler Custom Competition BTHP- $282 per 500 rounds

Shipping should run about $14 to anywhere in Texas. Local pick up is also available.

To place an order, you can email me to "chad at dallasreloads dot com", or call/text me at 972-87seven-235six.

What is the highest grain you would expect to perform well in a 1/7 twist 16 inch barrel?

About 2800 fps in a 16" AR. I run the same ammo in my Tikka bolt gun, and it's 2900+. It's not a HOT load, but it's a near max load for 223.

A 1:7" will stabilize up to a 90 grain BTHP. If it's in an AR, you will run into mag length problems on these. So, you will be limited to about 77 grains, maybe 80 to 80.5 grains in an AR-15 platform.
