Looking for a place close to Fort Hood for some meat deer. I need a place that is relatively cheap this year and would be looking for a lease next year. I am not looking to kill a buck or anything like that just need to get some meat for the freezer.

Fort Hood itself offers day leases....been a while since I checked it out but I recall it being very do-able. Good Luck!

Thats going to be my fall back action. I just hate the whole check-in, them take you to a stand and you cant move until they come back to get you. Plus I dont like registering my guns on base.
