Congrats! That's a great buck anywhere but he's a serious stud for Blanco County. My family hunted between Blanco and Johnson City for 25 years and we never took anything that good. And you got him your bow, too

Thank you all for the compliments! My taxidermist texted me Tues evening and said he scored 145 4/8". My best by a looooong shot!

Congrats! That's a great buck anywhere but he's a serious stud for Blanco County. My family hunted between Blanco and Johnson City for 25 years and we never took anything that good. And you got him your bow, too Hill country deer have come a long way since 65# bucks and pencil thin horns! That is one great buck, and to H&(( with the score!

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.
