I was playing around with my new camera and found this spider in our barn at the ranch, so I took a couple pics. Yes, those are babies on its back...

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Cool picture, Way back when, in the 4th grade we were studying bugs/spiders, so being the good little farm bottle I knew where a Black Widow had a web complete with egg sacs. I captured her in a mason jar and put some of the egg sacs in with her along with some small limbs and leaves. It was placed on the table with other specimens and about 3 weeks later we came into home room to find the janitors with their spray equipment working on the entire room. It seems as though the newly hatched spiders can scoot through the air holes in the jar lid. I received a warning to never bring another spider to school. Lol.

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I guess they don't feel the same way I do when a spider crawls on me. I couldn't be a mother spider. stop drop and roll.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.
