Pelican

http://www.pelican-case.com/1720-green1.html (dealers will have it cheaper)

Total up how much you have invested in barreled action, stock, base, rings, scope. $200 is cheap insurance.

Midway has pelicans on sale right now. Got the ad in the mail yesterday.

The Pelican cases are top notch. Storm cases are also top quality.

I bought this case many years ago on sale at BP and it has lasted me a while. The handle broke off, but it's a functional and durable case.

I purchased the same case and it's held up very well. My only complaint is the "pluckable foam". It easy to create the shape you need without cutting foam, but the remaining foam tends to separate somewhat easily. I would recommend this case as a good, to very good buy at the price point.

I use Pelicans (love them) with cut-to-fit foam, but a few buddies of mine have those with the "pluckable" foam. They pluck/cut the foam to fit their equipment, then pull it out and spray it with some sort of counter-top adhesive and it kind of solidifies the foam into one piece. I'm not sure what they use but I'm sure you can look it up.

This video shows a guy using PlastiDip to harden the foam. Seems promising.
