Here's a video from Saturday morning at Jason's (FiremanJG) Precision Rifle Hunters range shooting from 200-700 yards with no dialing the scope for distance, 6 rounds. I'm shooting a Surgeon 591 custom 308 Win running my 168 grain Hornady A-max- BULK ammo @ 2652 fps in a 28" barrel. 200 to 700 yards without dialing the scope. Targets go from right to left. The hardest part was finding target F (600) and target G (700) fast enough to engage it. This was the first take.

Here's another target at 300 yards with a buddies Tikka T3 in 300 WM with 180 SST custom load playing with the 6" spinner! This is how we play! First attempt Second Attemp

Nightforce 5.5-22 with MLR reticle. The MLR is my favorite reticle, which is what they discontinued. So, I bought 2 more of these scopes when I heard this. I want a clean reticle with no clutter in it, and this is the best I've found.

I can't believe you were shooting 2/3 IPSC to 400, instead of 2 MOA, and didn't go for 800, pu**y!

I quit mowing that whole strip of land the range sits on, this year. Now I mow just what is needed to keep the range in service. That yielded 12 bales and way less time for me to mow. They got loaded on the trailer yesterday and will be hauled to the buyer tomorrow.

I can't believe you were shooting 2/3 IPSC to 400, instead of 2 MOA, and didn't go for 800, pu**y! LOL! We were just playing around, really. Scott videoed the whole time we were shooting, and this was just one clip from it. But, we did break the 2 moa swinger target at 400 on the first round that morning, so it was out. 800 was giving us fits with the switching winds. We kept missing it, and we couldn't see where the hits/misses were going.

I fixed 400 yesterday.
800 is a bear to hit. Swirling winds down there and lots of shade that doesn't help seeing splash.

Yes. Plus, I was running my 168 A-max bulk ammo. It was shooting good, but 800 was giving us fits with the wind and not being able to see. 2 of the 300 WM did good at 800, though. A Tikka T3 with 180 SST and a custom build shooting the 190 LR AB. Both got good hits at 800 when the winds were lighter earlier in the morning.
I really love the range. It's a great place to shoot, and everyone loves the many targets to shoot at and play with.
