Just spent 7 days in SD looking for sharptails and prairie chickens. Had a great time and some good dog work. It is a walking game, as we (2 of us) walked, as per the gps 3.29 miles for each bird killed for 26 birds, but still a fun hunt always.

I think the nos. were up about 15% or so from last year according to the lek counts.
