I do not know if they are stupid or they suck. I bought a camera a couple of years ago and finally put it out on a area. I pulled the card and they have a .wgi extension. I have to have the CD to view it. They are mailing me one, but with today's technology, it should be available to download. I know I sound like a little baby, but why in the heck do you have to have their proprietary software to view pictures.

They were on sale at academy for $45 so I bought one.. took it out to the ranch to set up and it didn't work! the display screen said USB and all the lights stayed on, couldn't turn off, couldn't navigate the display, etc. Had to take it back to exchange, drive back out there, and missed a week of activity at the feeder. Hopefully it's taking pics as we speak.

I currently have 4 Wildgame cameras about 6 months old. Fair at best. I already have one that has failed. Display screen is to small. If you mount them on a board with screws the battery compartment will not open without removing the screws.
I will not own another at the end of the season, if they are still working, I will sell them or give the to my son in law.

This is my 2nd season with my Wildgame and it's been a good camera. 12K pictures this year and probably 5K or so from last year.
My FIL did buy 4 of the "on-sale" cameras a few weeks ago and had several issues with 2 of them. Two of the cameras would not come out of sleep mode or even take pictures.
For what it's worth these are different cameras than mine. I believe mine was $89.00 a few years ago at Academy.

I've got 3 Cuddebacks and one WG. The WG is the biggest piece of junk I have ever seen. Daytime pics are ok but the infrared night pics are terrible. Anything over 10' from the camera is so blurry that you can barely tell if it's a buck or doe.

Two of those pics were taken from my phone from a computer screen. So they were a little clearer with the originals

Returned both of mine. they took good pics but the battery compartment doors were JUNK!!! Both broke and wouldn't hold the batteries in. swapped for an upgraded version of the camera and one quit working after a couple of months. Took it back and got a stealth cam and it seems to work really well.

I have bought several WG items on sale thinking I would save money, won't do that anymore. Spend money and buy things that work....we're using Bushnell and Browning...Phenomenal pics from both.

I have 8 WGI cameras. Three of them are 3 years old, most are 2 years old and one we got last year. They work just fine. I replaced the old battery eaters with new LED cameras, but they were still working. Maybe I have been lucky as I always buy last years model for about $60.

For me, worst camera out there. Battery drain, cheap plastic housing and where batteries are loaded you will find that the whole plastic section section will just break. Went to Bushnell and Cuddeback, both IR.

Tried two of them a while back and both malfunctioned rather quickly. Never again!
