Was there in August hunting in Iraan, TX for a big Urial ram, but the ram had other ideas. Saw him for all of 30 seconds before he bailed off the cliffs and into a bush choked ravine. He is huge, heavily broomed but I am not sure he is killable given his temperament (been in the wild for over 2 yrs and very skittish) and where he lives. Round two is scheduled for sometime in October if all goes well. I took my son and he saw a lot of different game that he had never seen before(Ibex, Mule Deer and some assorted Rams as well as the big Urial I was after (for the same 30 seconds) and he did shoot a nice Texas Dall so he was thrilled. So memories were made and the hunt was a success even without having killed the ram I was after.

Hi Bowhunt Only......Chances are very high of taking him with a bow. We've been patterning him and he's coming up on cameras regularly.

Hah! Sheep Hunter! I just noticed that too... Here's another one... Younger brother.....According to this he will be there Weds...:)). The guys out in the field set up the cameras....these pix were taken & emailed to me within the last 3 days... I will have them reset the dates on the cameras.... We were having problems with 3 of the 5.... Finally got them working... Now need to tweak them!

I've seen lots of big black buck. The only one I've personally seen bigger was one Mike Savoy had. He was a toad. These pics don't do this guy justice. He's a heck of a BB. He is bow hunt able. And our lodging is great. Also if someone comes before dove season is over we can hammer some dove at no charge. We are shooting limits every evening we are at ranch. This buck is a toad...

That sucker is fat with great color should make a beautiful mount.

Count the "bumps" on the top..not the bottom.
