Best goose season I've seen in North Texas. Glad we had good goose shoots cause there was not many teal here this year.

Good news. Teal was pretty poor. I did take more birds off my places than any other year the first 2 weeks. Talked to my taxidermist who hunts a 15 acre lake about 5 miles SE of me hardly had any. Think the shallow flats this year- full of wigeon grass and coontail were the key in Van Zandt- and big water as well.
