Ill be using my strothers valor. Its shooting right at 300fps, im using harvester ht-2's. Never gone after anything this tough skinned with the bow. I was thinking griz tricks, maybe? Ive used slick tricks on wt and really been impressed. Thanks.

Cut on contact head. Razortricks, Helix, Magnus Stinger, Simmons, German Kinetics, Silver Flames. the list goes on.

I wouldn't hesitate to use a Magnus Buzzcut Stinger. Though it doesn't have the biggest cutting diameter, it is hard to beat in terms of penetration. Granted I haven't used any of the highly regarded German Kinetics.

Good to hear my slick tricks are still a favored broadhead. Theyve been the bees nees on whitetail and thin skinned exotics for me.

Helix Solid GK's
ST's/GT's
And a heavy arrow (500 grainish). You probably don't need 300fps as much as you need momentum to penetrate.

If you want to try a new head you might give us a shot at www.bowhunter1.com. You can now shoot a broadhead that has a fixed blade and expandable blades.
