Looking at a potential purchase and was wondering if anyone has or has had experience with thir guns and this caliber? Any help is appreciated.

The 400 Corbon is essentially what a 357 Sig/40 cal is to the 45 ACP. The 357 Sig takes the 40 case and necks it down to 9mm. The 400 Corbon takes the 45 ACP and necks it down to 40 cal. The main issue with both of these necked down rounds is making sure you have the correct head space and have a heavy crimp to hold the bullet in place. It can be difficult to reload for and getting the head space correct.

The 400 Corbon duplicates the 10mm Auto performance. IMO, why make the round complicated if the 10mm Auto already does it with a much more simple case. I'd just go 10mm. But the 400 Corbon is a little more wildcat.

Also, if you plan to reload it, I'd go with 45 ACP brass with a small primer pocket. Once you have brass and reload it, the small primer pocket will last longer.

Thanks...Too lazy for reloading right now. Researched factory loads and just trying to see if it was worth the trouble. Pawn shop find and they are ready to deal. Thanks again.

I trust what Chad says when it comes to the reloading of that round. I have one and it is fun to shoot at times, but ammo is costly. I ended up putting a buffer on mine as the Corbon ammo is hot. I don't reload that round so it doesn't get shot much.
