They are just not in Fannin co this year. My wetland was loaded - 20-45 birds each night- which is good for early teal- 2 days before opening.
Any reports this week? Basically not wasting time for a single group of birds. We are still pretty loaded in Van Zandt.

We had a ton of teal a few days before the opener and on opening morning. We had an amazing hunt taking 4 limits just as the sun was rising we were done. Taylor County
1 week later we shot five birds and were lucky to get those. I'd like to see more head in but I'm not getting my hopes up.

They're gonna be making a push for the coast this week. Full moon over the weekend.

We normally smash them up around Bonham early season in years past. This year we have seen a total of 6 teal in 3 hunts. Don't know what the deal is this year.

Something tells me this waterfowl season is going to be a disappointment for a lot of folks.

Saw your posts- I still have some in Van Zandt Co- had 75-100 on lake day before opening, 50 last weekend- looks like the same darn birds- we took 25 off the first 2 weeks- heard from fellow TFFer that they showed up in Fannin this weekend- will give it a shot this week
