Putting my PSL back on the market--it's an IO Inc imported SSG-97, with 4x scope and (qty 8) 10rd magazines (one of which is numbered to the gun.) It's definitely not a safe queen, but it's not beat up, either. Wood is in nice shape, and the metal just has surface scratches and "rubs." I'll be happy to send additional pictures to anyone interested. I've been able to hold about 1.5" with Hornady 150gr SST loads (the Cabelas exclusive that Hornady made a couple years ago) and it stays right at about 2" with Wolf 148gr. (all with 4x scope, mind you--probably better if I had more magnification)
I'm asking $1500 FTF for the gun, scope, and 8 magazines. I feel that it's a very fair price, since the guns and 1-2 mags go for $11-1200 pretty regularly, and the magazines are over $50 wherever I've seen them in stock.
I could meet at Cabelas in Ft Worth, Academy/Gander Mtn in Lewisville, or Bass Pro Grapevine, all points in between.
Currently not looking to ship.
Below is the target with 3 types of ammo--
Green box, 3rds Wolf 148gr FMJ
Red oval, 174gr BTHP handload at 2400fps that's FIVE shots.
Blue box, 3rds 150gr SST Hornady Steel case, just over 1"
White box, 7 rounds Hornady 150gr SST rapid fire--pretty sure the one to the far right is my fault, but 6/7rds were under 2"
The ones to the far right were when I was dialing my scope in to center, as you can see, 2 rounds of Wolf 148gr starting to mimic the group in the green box--lends itself to its consistency.
