I think it's sumpweed AKA marshelder AKA Iva annua but can't find out if ducks really like it.

If they do they should have plenty of it.

I'm reading native to Mexico, Central and Southern US. I'm also reading that it's a good food source for quail?

Ducks will typically avoid dense stands of it. Has no value for ducks.
