The gas station in Carbon is called "The Store". We had lunch there today, pretty good. A buddy who hunts this area keeps telling me about a place, I think in DeLeon, that has some kind of Friday night all you can eat steak. He says it is good.

That was all the steaks that they had on the menu. I got the 8 oz not knowing how good it could be for %12.99. Came with salad and baked potato. It was worth the $12.99. If it had been $20.99, it would not have been worth it, however, I am going back next week to get another.

Decent place to eat here. Wouldn't drive a half mile out of my way to eat at Mary's in Strawn. Dry meat, greasy/nasty fries. Once was enough.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Shannon's Burger Barn just moved from Putnam to Cisco (old hotel at exit 332). Burgers are really good and all you can eat catfish on Friday nights is worth the drive as well. Get there early.....it's a popular place.
