Ours shoot everything we have tried (including Remington Ultimate Defense) except the Hornady American Gunner. It jammed about every other round. We settled on the Winchester PDX1.

Well I don't like that ..... I bought one for my wife and sure don't want it to jam if she needs it.

We shot a box of cheap Geco ammo through it, then I loaded it with Hornady Critical Defense.

I always shoot a couple mags of what ever ammo I'm going to carry for self defense to make sure it functions without any failures.

Our LCPs have never had an issue with ammmo. But my daughter weighs about 110 pound, she is little. And she had a issue with one jamming up, but no one else did. It came down to her having to hold he gun a bit more firm sense she was absorbing he recoil in her small arms. So we tightened her grip and there was no more problems. My SIL gave us some self defense ammo (I wish I could remember what is was) and it would cycle regardless. I didn't want it jamming up in a situation that was critical,

Hornady Critical Defense ammo is no good in .380. The best .380 ammo is w/an XTP bullet. Several brands load it.
