The mornings are cooling off, so I'll be after the coyotes and pigs. I went and retrieved the 260 from the safe and thought I'd better check the scope POI. Walked over to my bench and could see through the scope that I had a couple of unshot targets. Snugged the rifle into the bags and cranked off a round. It hit about 1/4 to 1/2 inch just right of perfect. Coulda been me that pulled it, so shot a second round. Into the same hole. Adjusted the windage two clicks left and shot 1/4 inch just left of perfect. Went one click to the right and the result was perfect.
This is the rifle that ChadTRG42 had made up for me, with the #4 Brux barrel. I have to say that I have never had a more accurate rifle, even when compared to my super shooting 220 and the rebarreled 223. Every time I shoot groups with it, I am amazed all over again. Love the rifle and love the scope. Let the critters beware....

Hard to beat a great shooting rifle!
Your very slight POI shift could have been the temp and barometer being different from the last time you shot it. Happens quite often.

Yes! Good to hear it still shoots! The Tikka's we have built in the 6.5 CM and 260 Rem have all been shooters. Easy half moa, and most are coming in less than that with a good load. They just flat out shoot. When you do it right, everything comes together. The rifle needs to be a "system." IMO, the Tikka T3 is one of the best rifle platforms to build a semi custom rifle one. They are not finicky, and the trigger, action, and bolt are great. I would recommend a stock upgrade, but then you have to spend more $$$.
