The smaller the tube, generally the less elevation and windage travel. But it also depends on magnification range. Some of your 1" tubes with a high 18x to 25x will have very little travel. Your 30mm tubes get more internal travel, and your 34mm and 35mm even more.

A dirty little industry secret is many 30mm tube scopes have 1" internals in them. Not your high end scopes but say ones in the 700.00 range and under.

Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

First off, that is not a fair comparison. Those two scopes are in two completely different prices ranges. Its like saying which sports car is better...a Mustang GT or a Corvette Z06?

We have 3 Swaro Z3's 50mm (me 2 and my daughter 1) and not an issue at all with any of them, and they seen constant use as we hunt exotics all year round. Been to Africa and back - no issue with the SCOPE and the glass is without peer. Now the Z3's don't have much fancy stuff on them - just dang good glass and a basic ballistic reticle. These scope gather so much light, that I have actually used them at night hunting without any other illumination (and it wasn't a full moon either).

The only other "expensive" scope (not counting thermal/night) I currently have is a Leopold VXR firedot on my .375 H&H. It's not bad, but can hold a candle to the Swaro. Zeiss Conquest - again not a bad scope at all - but not in the same neighborhood.
