Clicking that link worked. I saw many of the first bullets bahve the same. The V-max showed why it is a varmint bullet with little penetration. The DGX cause what looked to be the most catastrophic tissue damage. I wondered how my beloved A-max would fair. No exit, though I have had exits on whitetail.

Very cool video! up

The ballistic gel tests are neat, but bullets behave drastically different when they hit that leg bone.

Agreed. I try to avoid it, especially on hogs.

Wish they had included caliber and velocity of the bullet being used.

JG it is not a surprise that you have had exits with the A-Max, I have as well but a lot of how a cup and core bullet like the A-Max will penetrate has to do with sectional density of the bullet and what it hits. The higher SD the deeper penetration.

True but you can count on bullets that expand quickly and do not penetrate deep will not work well on bone.
