Pulled out the old PSE bow and slung a few arrows, it gave me renewed interest. Have not bow hunted in 15 years and gave up because it was so difficult. Now I am on a better lease and hoping to have better luck. My stand is set up over a low spot that holds water and is known for pig activity and is a crossing area for deer travel. No feeder, but will throw out some attractant. Do you bow hunters hunt over a feeder or a game trail?

When I bow hunted, I hunted both. Seemed water, or trails to it and fresh acorn fall areas where my best spots. Like you, I quit bow hunting, not because it was hard though.

Yes.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

I hunt over a hand baited site that I feed once a week. The deer are more comfortable in my area when I removed the feeder and went this route.

I have sets on both, feeder, and trails with hand corn, I prefer the hand corned trails though

Depends on where I hunt. In TX, I hunt near feeders.

In KS, just hunting trails or areas that I think deer will travel

I typically don't set right up on a feeder, I'll set up 70 yards off and hand corn. Deer seem to be a lot more at ease

Public and Oklahoma I set up on pinch point trails

I have two stands 30 yrds from feeders and a couple on trails that I hand corn. If the rancher pulls the cattle during deer season the hand corn spots work real good. If not the cows seam to clean up my hand corn spots pretty quick.

I like to hunt just off of some big ole white oak trees. About the only time I hunt a feeder is if I wanna bust a hog. Another good place I like to hunt are creek crossings.

Sqiggy, creek crossings are some of my favorite hunting locations, very natural funnel.
