What are yall running in your Creeds? The Amax is very accurate. I have loaded some Nosler Accubond LR but with all the talk about problems I am thinking about something different for hunting.

What are yall running for your hunting bullet?

123gr AMax works for Whitetail just fine.

I've had no problem with them but only killed 2 Hogs with them. Sight in POI in my gun is almost identical to the 130 vld's. I like the ABLR better then the 130 vld as far as on game performance

140 gr. A-max @ 2800 fps MV.

If I was hunting anything larger than whitetail I may consider a different bullet, but the A-max has worked well for whitetail, coyotes, and hogs. Plus it will always go where I tell it to go.

Think that's a little hot for factory

I don't buy center fire ammo.

Last lot of H-4350 was a charge of 42.4 gr. The new lot of H-4350 is 42.8 gr. 25" barrel is part of the reason for the MV.

As best I can remember, everyone I know that is running a 140 gr A-max or Berger is loaded with 42.0 gr to 43.0 gr of H-4350.

Powder lots vary and barrels vary, so as always start low, work up and watch for pressure as you go. I'm sure you know that though.

I have just been reading a lot of inconsistent grouping and bullets open or they don't.

Chad loaded mine and they are 1/2 MOA, and no issues to 500.

On game done exactly what an AB is suppose to do. No issues with not expanding, grant it two pigs is hardly a data set.

I am going to give the 130 VLD Huntings a shot. My dies came in yesterday, so I hope to try it out within the next couple of days.

A lot depends on your style of hunting and ranges you like to shoot. My 6.5s will be loaded with 130gr accubond for the 6.5-284 and either the 123SST or 129 ABLR in the Grendel.
