Indeed I did.

APR
26 Nosler
McMillan game scout stock bedded by APR
Old school blueprinted SS LH 700 action
Timney trigger
SS Bartlein 3B contour 1/8.7 twist with spiral flutes finished at 26"
GreTan firing pin and shroud
Spiral fluted bolt with Campfire knob.
Seekings 20 MOA rail and Seekins rings
Meopta 6-18 X 50 mm scope
Cerakoted Graphite Black.

Just picked it up yesterday so I haven't got to shoot it yet but I'll bet it shoots.

Extremely nice!

Holler at me when you want to come zero it and stretch it out. Head down SH 11 just a little past Bailey.

You will love your Meopta....rifles not bad either ha ha.

Hey let me know what you recipes are trying. I shoot a McWhorter 6.5 Weatherby. Our numbers are pretty close. I'm running 67.5gr H-1000, 140VLD Hunting Berger. I have a ton of Retumbo and Vituvouri N560 and just got some RL-26 to play with. The H-1000 load is going to be hard to beat for accuracy anyway, but I am always looking for the Holy Grail loading.

Did you gather parts and give them to Alamo to build? That thing should ROCK, great LR Hunting gun.

I'm betting it will. This is the first 26 Nosler that Robert has done with a 8.7 twist so he's anxious to see how it shoots as well.

What was the original caliber of your donor action?

Originally it was a Rem 300 Ultra Mag. Know anyone who needs a 300 UM barrel? smile

Buzz may be referring to the fluting. Being a lefty Robert ran it all counter clockwise as opposed to clockwise on a right hand. Makes no functional difference but just adds to the overall look and it's one of those little details that makes his work outstanding!

I think you can use a standard long action on the 28 Nosler but he 26 takes an Ultra Mag action. At least that's my understanding but I've been wrong before confused2

Hope y'all are doing well.
