Private lands antlerless. May only be antlerless, but there is no fee with that type of hunt. This one is in Grayson county so it is only a little over an hour from home. And it is on the Petree Ranch, so I may even get to see a nice buck or two even if I can only shoot those with a camera. So... Cool!

Being Grayson county it is Archery. I have not upgraded my compound because I have been wanting to take a step back to where I started and get a decent primitive longbow or recurve instead, but that just has not been able to happen yet. Then my old Hoyt round cam Super Slam Supreme with the 65% letoff is still kickin it and dang near a primitive bow anyway.

Nice! Sounds like a fun hunt. I haven't been drawn yet but the results for most of the gun deer hunts aren't posted. Got my fingers crossed!

Excellent! Congrats.

I, too, am waiting on the gun deer results.

We got a private land antler less in Hall Cty couple of years back. Just nice to see new places. We had a great time and saw several good bucks. Good luck

If deadline was 9/11 when will we know results of draw? Just curious.

I paid for many different hunts last night at 11:45pm, so just barely made the deadline, and also wondering generally when they announce results, or email them to you?

I think it's the next business day, so Monday. You will get emailed if you are drawn.

Congrats SJ. I am looking forward to my first time getting drawn. I have probably spent enough on application fees to pay for a guided hunt by now. Oh well, I will keep on trying
