"finally got out to the ranch and set up for the 25-45 sharps. couldn't find A2200, so I used LT32, first group on the right, right next to it was LT32 24.5, upper left was Varget 24.5, next out will be with LT32 w/24.0 these were the first nine shots down the tube

Are you using 223 brass and necking it up? What bullet are you running?

I have thought about offering this caliber. Is there a shortage of ammo suppliers for this round, do you think? It seems easy to load for.

I am really excited about it, I don't think ammo will be a problem, the only draw back with this, is on an AR platform, you are limited to length of bullet seating due to mag.

The 87 gr Sierra is a good 25 caliber bullet, it along with the 90gr Sierra HP are about the only two bullets that always seem to shoot well for me in 257's and 25-06. In the AR platform I run a 25 DTi which is the 6.8 SPC necked down with a 30 degree shoulder. Runs the 90gr Sierra 3000fps from 18 inch barrel.
Chad I would think the 6x45mm would be a lot more lucrative as I would guess for every 25-45mm there are probably 100 6x45's seeing action. Way more bullet selection and about as easy as it gets to load.

I built a custom .25-223 AR several years ago. It's a .223 case shortened 2 MM and necked up to .257. Shoots very well with H335 and Hornady 87 gr spire points or 90 Gr Sierra Game Kings.
