Skipped the morning hunt, thinking of driving out to glen rose and doing an evening hunt. A buddy is in Johnson county, near cleburne and only has one white wing. Not many birds at a all.
Anyone else?
I thought this cool front would push them through.

I'm just south of Waco, hunted this morning from 1st light until about 30 minutes ago. I think I fired 5 shots all morning, didn't hear much going on around me, either. It was a gorgeous morning to be out, though! The breeze was actually cool.

My Buddy and I went down with Mark Roberts in Uvalde..... Had a limit by 10:00 or so.... Real high flying as they went passed us on the way out to the fields,,, thought, this is going to be tough... 1 hour later they returned from the fields flying still high but much lower and within reach.... It was AWESOME ACTION....

Didn't expect to see a lot, but the last minute front moved them in.
Hunted close to Brookshire, and got a 5 man limit.
Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.

I think the dove all went west. Drove from Bridgeport to Odessa and back yesterday. Dove numbers were crazy along the way. The ringnecks in Odessa were unbelievable.

Im 16 miles north of San Antonio. Im in Marion. The cool weather has made a change in this area. I've noticed the morning flights have increased. Hoping that it will stay this way. This hot weather sure has screwed the dove up where I'm at.
