The 250 doesn't have a lot of following, and you'd probably be lucky to get $300 for it--maybe you'd get more if you had someone that you served with that wanted one, but never got it.
If I were in your position, I'd keep it, being that it's not a highly sought after gun, and just scratch up enough dough for the optic.
This is a special piece of your personal history that you might appreciate in a couple decades, or tell your grandkids about. Think about all the Lugers, 1911s, and Walther P38s that were given up by the GIs that they probably wish they had today.

I'm not sure what exactly it's worth but not enough to let it go for later regret.
Pass the gravy.

I've never seen a rear sight like that. Is it unique to that model?

How much is the aimpoint you are looking to get? I haven't really researched it much yet bc I am still a couple months from getting my tax stamp back but I'm figuring around 400 or so

I had one with 2 bbls, one in 40 and the other in 357Sig. I think I sold it for $350 maybe.

I got about $350 for a .40 compact. I too never was enthralled with mine.
