What interval do you set between photos? I run six cameras and we've got a lot of axis, so anything more than once every five minutes becomes unmanageable (at least during the off season).

I run mine every 30 seconds and check the cameras every 2 weeks. I go thru about 1000 pictures. These are of deer only and my feeders are surrounded by hog panels. I will go thru these photos and save/delete as I look at them. Might take 45 minutes. I'm always swapping SD cards in my cameras. Look at my photos at home.

I got the same problem as you (axis wise). I run all 6 of my cams on 3 minute intervals. I get about 1k pics every 3 weeks or so. 1 min is just too many pics, 5 or 10 min intervals misses too much for me. I like to look at pics though.

Depends on the camera, battery life, card size and time between checks. Camera setting will vary based on those factors and also what type of area they are covering. I set up scrape cams different than feeder cams and I set up corn pile cams similar to scrape cams since the corn will only be there a short period and I need that cam working fast as deer come in looking and quickly leave.

I can tell you if you run it on 3 shot burst with a 30 second interval you will kill your batteries real quick. I screwed that up last year and had 13,000+ pics in 1 month hammer

I like the 3 shot burst because it allows me to see the buck at different angles without him moving too far. But at the same time, going to single shot on a 1 minute or 30 second interval might not be a bad idea either. Seems I change every setting from year to year

For me it depends on the location and amount of deer on the place I am hunting. Free choice feeders with a lot of deer will be longer intervals or maybe even set on trails instead of the feeder. Corn feeders on intervals may have shorter intervals. Water troughs with no livestock will have shorter intervals. Trails and scrapes will have shorter intervals.

I like the 3 shot burst as well because animals often move and trigger the camera just beyond view, but then get caught in the 2nd or 3rd shot.

I have mine set for 3 at no more than 1 minute intervals. They are far enough back that the coons often don't trigger the camera.

Depends on the time of year and how long I'm slinging corn. The more corn on the ground means longer camera intervals for me. I ran a 2 minute delay during the off season.

I run my cameras taking 30sec videos when triggered after 5 min wait. I get only about 400 videos after 3 weeks on each camera. I font have your activity though but I'm running a solar panel and 12v battery setup on every camera.

I like the videos instead of pics because in 99% of the videos I can see the bucks well.

If I ran aa batteries they would last about 2 days. My camera how they are set up have been running 24/7 for 2 years now.

If I could I'd change my wait time to 10 min and always do videos.

If its at feeder, 4 min. with a 3 shot burst is what I run.
Waterhole or at a mineral lick about 30 sec. 3 shot burst.
I'm using the Covert 3G cellular trail cams and love them.

This - we have free choice feeders so we go with 2 shot burst every 5 minutes and get thousands of pictures in a 3=4 week stretch. We spend a fortune on batteries each year because we have so many cameras taking 2-3,000 pics over a fairly short timeframe that our batteries get smoked. I also think the 105 degree heat in south texas contributes to batteries not lasting nor cameras
