Was messing around and snapped a few pics of my yellow lab. Will be her first duck hunt this weekend. She's got the drive...

Nice. Mine will have the drive, but not the focus. At four months she did okay with the doves, as few as we saw and shot that is, but not expecting too much with teal. We will just sit a pond on some private land and hope. Cool pics.

Pretty cool photos. Better have a stable boat or blind if she's going to enter the water like that.

[quote=stringwise]Thanks guys and best of luck this weekend. I took a 3 shot sequence tonight I thought was worth sharing. Yeah Michael, not sure how that would work out of a boat. We hunt out of land blinds so shouldn't be a problem. Just hope she lands on something soft Its pretty neat to watch their enthusiasm. This is my black lab and my daughters Lab/Chow mix. The daughters dog gets way out there like your dog.

my lab likes to ease into the water. is there a way to train them to jump? had some issues in the wooded areas in Arkansas when she had to enter the water out of a boat or off of a stand 1-2 feet above the water surface.

A big water entry is beautiful but can be dangerous. Can't help but love em!

Still a baby and has plenty of time to mature.

And even then, it's a very controlled environment.

That was a Benelli M1 Super 90, I had done a camo job on it at that time.
