I just bought one of these things:

It set up real easy, and I was going to take it to the range this morning to try it out, but, for the first time in 7 weeks, IT'S RAINING!

These things cost 30 bucks a pop, so they're kinda pricey, but since I can use it over and over again, I thought it would be worth a try. I'll give a report once I've actually shot some holes in it!

I took the Right Now Range out to the range, set it up, and put some rounds on it. It's basically a good system, but here in Central Texas, the winds are strong and pretty steady. The Range did a bit of "rocking and rolling" while I was shooting, even in a 10mph wind. I added some 2 X 4 "feet" to it, and it helped considerably. Don't yet know how it's going to handle a wind from directly behind or directly into it. May need outriggers to handle that wind scenario, since the footprint is rather narrow, front to rear.
