I have 2 propertys one is 70 acres and one 80 acres located in callahan county near the town of Putnam. The property's are close to each other. I'm looking to put one hunter on each $1800 per gun. This is for deer, pig and turkey hunting only. Property is mesquite ranch land. NO alcohol, partying, camping or anything like that will be allowed. If interested txt or call 3256681120

Not to be rude, but is this for real? No camping and $25 acre or so? in Callahan County? On such a small tract? I am hoping you left a zero off the acreage.....

Till you know what your talking about may be best to zip it. Places are in the middle of no where. No neighbors hunting much. If your not interested just don't comment

70 is not all that small. There are tons of people who hunt with guns on much smaller tracts of land. If i didnt have anywhere to hunt, you can bet that I would be hunting on 70 acres if I needed to.

I'm pretty sure he posted a lease where it was MLD 200 acres a guy... Now that's pushing it. If the guy wants to lease 70 acres let him, someone will do.

After further thought, this maybe a good lease for somebody.

Putnam is a good area.

How am I supposed to hunt if I can't camp? I also like a taste of good whiskey at the campfire before bed. I guess I'm not welcome.

Well a hunter could always sleep in their deer stand...wait...deposits..stands.......nix that idea grin

Were we hunt in West Texas we do not have a place to stay on the ranch, so we stay in town in a hotel (20+ miles away). If a person wants to hunt they can improvise...sorta like not hunting out of deer stand nidea or using a corn feeder or....

Both places have a good stock tank. I have been burned with hunters camping drinking and trashing out places.

I have a 60 acre place and it is plenty big enough to hunt. Nothing wrong with it.

My cousin has a 40 acre wheat field next to a big ranch. They shoot over 30 deer off of it every year. Every couple of years they get a 130 + buck off of it. You don't need big acres to have good hunting.

This keeps fence companies in business.

Thanks for making my point. Somebody wannna tell me how I'm wrong again? They shouldn't be taking any deer off 40 acres. They are everything that is wrong with Texas deer hunting.

Anybody wanna justify this? Pathetic.

Pretty sure its private property and doesn't give any of us a right to tell them what to or not to do whether it be right or wrong. But that's just me.

We've hunted Putnam along brushy creek, north of I-20. Can be good hunting. There's a motel in town

I hunt a 40 acre place in Callahan county that I would put up against your 200 acres at PK and kill bigger deer for a whole lot less money. That justifies it. rifle

If hunting pressure is low around that 40 acres, there is nothing worng with what they are doing. Not everybody can hunt on large tracts of land, and to get down on people that dont, doesn't do any good to the sport of hunting.
