Have a few pics of this fella on camera but only a couple that are clear shots. He's kinda hard to read on age much less score. Little G1's but kinda saggy gut and brisket area. Any thoughts?

Looks a little shallow in the front chest area but very good girth to that gut and rear end looks filled out as well. I say 4 year old.

He's hangin with his homies out at the local feeder. Nice buck. I dare say that he will never blossom out much bigger the next season, but who knows. Heck may even throw some non typ points in another year. Looks like a good buck to hunt. Judging by the body and rack Id say he is a 4 year old. With that short g3 and 8 point rack Id say he is ready to hunt. up

Depending on where you hunt, I'd say he could be a shooter. Pretty buck. Once he slicks off, he's probably 128"-132"

Nice 9 point buck. IMO he is either a 4 yr old or 5 yr old from those pics. He has a lot of neck muscle to be much younger.

Well he's pretty odd on the right side. I don't know if its from previous damage or a injury or just off genentics.

I would put him at 2-3 years old. He does not have the "Roman Nose" of an older deer. I would give him another year.

If you pass that deer as a 2yr old you will never find one old enough to shoot...

I would say 3 or 4. While he doesn't have the Roman nose, it's not a long skinny looking snout, brisket is just starting to get a point but doesn't look real big, hard to tell but the back looks like it may be starting to sag. I'd give it another year too.

Not all deer have a "Roman Nose". If they do have it, age is not the limiting factor in getting it.

Yep. You couldn't exactly see the details until the different angle. I figure he'll be hard horned or starting to after this week. He's noticeable larger bodied than other bucks but looks funny to me.

My guess would be 4.5 ish. I think he would be neat to see in another year, may go typical, or all crazy, but for sure will be older.

Checked the camera over the weekend and noticed something odd. I'm going to try and load pics in a bit but one night the buck is still in full velvet and the next he's clean hard horned. I've never seen one go that soon so it makes me think it's possibly 2 different deer.
