Does anyone have a load or a good starting place for shooting Berger 140.
I have looked and was going to buy the manual but it doesn't carry the cartridge.
I have h4831 Sc, RL22, imr 4350 and several other powders.

Nosler has some data online that is a great source.

http://www.nosler.com/nosler-load-data/280-remington-ackley-improved/

Hodgdon also has some 280AI data: http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/rifle

4831 or R22 would be my pick.

H4831 has become the powder of choice in my 280's and AI's. I've loaded the round for several years. I now shoot the 154 sst's in the 2800 range. I would say if you already have 4831 on hand I could recommend starting with it on your 140's.

I have some H4831SC that I am thinking about running with 140 Berbers.

IMR4831 is what I have ran mostly with the 140s in my Nosler 280AI

My 280 loves IMR4350 pushed hot using 140 Accubonds. With the AI start at around 53 grains and work up. I won't say what my load is because it's hot and my gun likes it. I chrono'd my loads this week, 3050 average
