Were the Franchi 912's so good of a gun no one wants to get rid of them, or so bad no one bought them. I have been searching for one for 2 years and have not had one show up. Does anybody have and shoot one?

Not many were made. Beretta took the design for the extrema. You might also look for a Dick's Diamond. It was a rebadged 912.

They are great guns. 612 is more common. Same gun but with 3"chamber.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

How are they such great guns when the same thing breaks on both? confused2

If I wrote this about a remington, comments would of been to throw it away and buy a real gun.

The Franchi Affinity is a good gun too. Bought one last year and ran about 1,000 rounds thru it with no problems, light and heavy loads. Lightweight interia gun with very little parts to clean.

I have no complaints about them.

I had a different model Franchi and the barrel broke while shooting bird shot. Got it exchanged for a brand new one at my local Walmart.

Yes, that is what you should do with the Remington

I have a 712 and absolutely love it. Not sure about the 912 but if it's anything like the 712 j can see why they are hard to find.
