do you ever bred that balck dog of yours manny? he seems like one of the most consistant field trial dogs running right now but never see pups by him. is it because he is a carrier or you just dont really care to breed. i see other carriers getting bred and it would nice to see what manny produces. what are his stats vs your dog skeeter? how many wins and points did each one have ?

Skeeter had: 8 open wins, 10 am wins; qualified for 11 Nationals, finished 2. Had 1 double header, and I retired him with 147 all age points at 10. note: he tore both cruciates, and 1 miniscus at age 5.

Manny - 4 open wins, 11 Am wins. He has qualified for 8 Nationals, including 2016 Nat'l am in Stowe Vermont, and finished 1 Nat'l am in Oregon. He currently has 119.5 all age points at age 6. He won a double header this year, and has finished in the top 5 the past two years in the purina awards, Am division. Currently he is 2nd in the Purina Am division, and 2nd in the top all age points nationwide.

I have just started putting Manny out as a stud dog.

I'm glad you responded. I've always been curious about him being bred as well. I've seen Manny run a couple of times and he is an incredible animal!

so many people talk about the big name studs but to me manny should be one. he is quietly one of the best dogs out there but dont see his name brought up when people are ta;king about studs.

ok hard question. you are at the national and you can either go to the line with skeeter in his very prime or manny at his best. what do you do and why? most people dont get one dog like skeeter in their life and you got skeeter, manny and you have an up and comme too.

That's a hard question to answer. I guess it would be Manny. Nationals are about being consistent, and Manny is more so than Skeeter was at the same age.
