PICK UP YOUR DAM HULLS, WATER BOTTLES AND BEER CANS. It never fails, your going to have about 1 in 10 hunters that don't bend at the %$#@ing waist. I beat this into my hunters but some feel too good to have to pick up their trash I guess. I realize your not going to find them all esp shooting a semi auto, but at least pick up every one you see and even those that aren't yours,,that makes up the difference.
Hulls are bad for the Cows plus it just looks bad, I take pride in my place and I expect my hunters to keep it clean.

Rant Over...

Agreed. Most insist they forgot, but can still seem to remember their birds and gun every time. Peculiar how things work out.

No excuse for that crap, I always make it a point to take out more trash than I bring in, just to cover the occasional hull I lose.

I hate automatics just for that reason. Me and the wife pickup our empties and any others we find.

I not only pick up my own (that can be found that Browning Silver Hunter sure as heck chunks them empties and its almost anew sport of sorts finding them some times) but I pick up others. I'm fact I picked a mess of old 20 ga yellow hulls from last season that got left by someone under the mesquite tree I hunt by on a APH unit. I say last season cause they were "rusted" already. Also might get a press and reload the good ones one of these days....maybe! cowboy

Preach on brother. I picked up my hulls and others that I found. I saw a very good dove lease lost due to idiots trashing the place. They actually cleaned their birds where the cows were fed and threw their trash in the feed troughs. IDIOTS!

I will say, those green Remingtons can be hard to find in the tall grass. I search pretty good for mine, but I'm sure I've missed a few.

I make a game for my kids to see who can pick the most up. I carry a home Depot orange bucket, and which ever kid gets the most empties gets 2$ the loser gets a dollar. Keeps em entertained.

I have one and it will pick up most all hulls. It will pick up 2-3 at a time. Found mine at Northern tools, It's about a 3-4" round magnet on a 3' stick. It works good.

I put my dove in zip lock bags on ice and breast them when I get home. You could leave your dove on ice for a week uncleaned and they are fine. I do the same thing with duck road trips.

I just happen to hunt on a public dove WMA that is also owned by a man I do some side work for. We have the GW on speed dial and I will not hesitate to walk my arse over there and tell you to pick up your chit. You are trashing a place that I work on, don't mess with my fences either. Every year some jack wagons wrap the wires so they can cross easily. There are animals out there and the fences are there for a reason. We ended up having to go ride all the fences every weekend to fix that. Have some respect people. A private party owns that land and its leased to the state so that we hunters can hunt on it. Rant over. Milam Co WMA Complex is the property

I have instilled into my little brothers that after each box they are to stop shooting and pick up their hulls! I hate when people are so dang lazy that they can't pick up their own hulls!

I pick up my shells after every shot. Much easier to do it as you go. I keep a bucket with me that I throw the empties in and now that I have an O/U it's a game to see if I can eject them into the bucket from my seat. My semi-auto throws them about 10 feet.

I usually clean my birds at home. I have a dog and anyone with a dog knows they will eat the carcasses if you don't watch them. Dumping them where you set up, park, or near the gates is just moronic.
