How are the birds flying in coleman? I am west of town about 5 miles from Novice. I don't typically see many birds on my lease but hope that changes this year.
Anyone have any luck yesterday? What should I expect this weekend? Is the dove festival going on saturday?

From what I'm hearing South Coleman County is on fire... I'm headed out that way this weekend for 5 days. The dove fest is this Saturday 10-1:00.

I've heard great things. Stupid numbers of birds. I'm going back there soon. I heard they had a blackout yesterday. Couldn't see the sun.

Spotty and birds spread out- we were on 1800 acres in am, 1000 in afternoon- chose to shoot w best friends rather than shoot easy limits in Haskell. Group of 6 shot average of 5 birds each ALL day Food source was mediocre at best. Heading north of Benjamin this weekend. They are covered up
